The children had great fun with Darragh's therapy dog before he headed off to Cork for training. We look forward to his return and many happy times with us in Dromore!

Discover Science Award 2019!!
We are delighted to announce that we have been successful in receiving our fourth Discover Science and Maths Award!! This wouldn't be possible without the hard work of our pupils and staff. A special thanks to Ms. Doherty for co-ordinating the years science programme and putting the project together. Future scientists in the making in Dromore! Well done everyone!
First Holy Communion
The sun shone in the Cross for thirty four pupils in second class who received their First Holy Communion. We are so proud of every one of them. Odd Sock Day
We celebrated 'Odd Sock Day' as part of our 'Friendship/Anti- Bullying' week.
Today we celebrated Grandparents Day. Grandparents of our 5th class children were welcomed in to lots of fun and entertainment. Well done to all involved in making it such a special occasion!

There was lots of hard work being done by the children in Dromore making their St. Bridget's Crosses!
Well done to all the boys and girls who took part in the county finals for handball. They all played very well and we have 6 silver medalists for Dromore. A great achievement for all getting this far!!

Well done to all the children who represented the school today in handball. Four schools took part in the Cumann na mBunscoil Handball tournament in Mac Cumhaills GAA Handball Alley. Dromore, Sessiaghoneill, Richfield and Downings took part in what was an exciting and enjoyable day of handball. Seven of our children qualified for the County Finals taking place next Wednesday in Glenfinn. The children from Dromore were commended on their good behaviour today and did the school proud. Good luck in the finals!
From the 29th of January to the 2nd of February we will celebrate Catholic Schools week.
The Donegal Youth Services will hold a presentation for parents on Internet Safet on monday 15th an 7pm. All are welcome to attend.
Training Courses for parents
In conjunction with Middletown Centre of Excellence for Autism we are offering 6 training workshops for parents during the months of April and May on various dates from 11am- 1pm. Laps to Lapland
Our Active School Commitee came up with this idea as a great way of keeping fit over Christmas at school. The distance from Donegal to Lapland is over 4049km so all the boys and girls and staff have to complete 4049 laps of our basketball court (1k=1 lap). Each class has to complete 504 laps!!
